National Sea Grant College Program
Regional Planning Workshop
On May 7-8, Sea Grant regional coordinators
and PIs participated in a workshop in Silver Spring to highlight NOAA
Sea Grant's Regional Research and Information planning efforts. Representatives
of all of the regional planning teams shared their progress, learned
from each other, and discussed ways of improving the value of the
process to stakeholders. The workshop also featured a panel discussion
with NOAA regional planning leadership and helped strengthen the connection
with NOAA's emerging regional activities. National Sea Grant Office
staffers Jamie Krauk and Megan Agy did an outstanding job of organizing
the workshop. The agenda is posted online at: http://www.seagrant.noaa.gov/newsevents/newsevents.html
